Built from ice baths and blood panels

The first thing was cold. Our founding team built Arctic Bear Baths — a professional cold-therapy practice on Bali — and spent years guiding immersions for everyone from curious tourists to professional athletes. We watched, over and over, how a properly guided protocol changed people in days: sleep, mood, stress response. And we watched the wellness industry sell the same thing as a photo opportunity.

The second thing was medicine. In 2024, Bali opened something unprecedented for the island: an international-standard hospital inside a dedicated health special economic zone in Sanur — with sports-medicine testing, advanced labs and foreign-licensed physicians, minutes from beachfront resorts.

We looked at the retreat market and saw the gap clearly. Yoga retreats had soul but no data. Longevity clinics in Europe and the US had data but cost $10,000–25,000 a week and felt like hospitals. Nobody — literally nobody on Bali — was combining full hospital diagnostics with a re-test, a personalized plan, and professional cold therapy in one program. So we built it.

The result is a deliberately unglamorous idea executed in a glamorous place: measure honestly, intervene properly, verify the change, send people home with a system. Fourteen days, because that is what the physiology of adaptation actually requires. Sanur, because that is where the medicine lives. Small cohorts, because protocols scale badly past ten people.
